信仰的节日

纠结的蓝色 is the music of Aimée and Joel Pakan. It is a unique sound that incorporates latin and electronic percussion, 原声吉他, 管乐器, beautifully matched alto and baritone voices, and stories from their journeys across North America and Europe.

纠结的蓝色’s first recording was completed in early 2003. Recorded at a farm house in Menomonie, 威斯康辛州, it is a caffeinated folk-rock blend of songs that have shown their durability, as the duo traveled with them over one million miles of U.S. highways and three tours in Europe. 纠结的蓝色 completed a new recording based on the season of Advent in November 2008 and a Christmas recording in 2011. Their more recent works have included a number of liturgical songs for Christian worship. In 2020, Aimée and Joel completed master's degrees that included coursework at the Urban Theological Institute in Philadelphia and received calls to serve Lutheran congregations in South Dakota.

Who can come to 信仰的节日?

信仰的节日 is for sixth through eighth graders and their adult leaders. People from any tradition or worldview are welcome to attend.

多少钱?

$75 per middle school youth. Adult leaders attend free of charge. Registration fees cover two meals, 活动, musicians and programmatic costs and a 信仰的节日 souvenir.

What is the deadline for registration?

星期五,1月. 26. We appreciate you honoring the registration deadline.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Anyone who cancels after Jan. 26 will receive a 50% refund.

What about adult leaders?

We ask that at least one adult leader attend 信仰的节日 for every 10 youth from their congregation. Adult leaders attend free of charge.

Why has Fest Fest been changed from an overnight to a one-day event? I was really looking forward to sleeping on the floor of the Elmen Center!

Your enthusiasm for gymnasium sleepovers is unique and commendable. Feedback from others suggests that a day-long event feels more man年龄able to most people, so we're giving it a try.

Tell me about the off-campus service projects.

Each church will be assigned an off-campus service project somewhere in the Sioux Falls area. Groups will find out their service project when you arrive at 信仰的节日. Congregations must provide transportation for their youth to and from off-campus service projects. Youth leaders should be sure that they have enough vehicles to transport youth on Saturday afternoon.
